Cigar Lifestyle: Crush & Roll West returns for 6th consecutive year

What do you get when you pack Premium Cigars, Wines, Craft Beers, Great Food and a Poker Tournament into one weekend? You get one of the best freakin’ weekends ever; you get Crush & Roll West! Crush & Roll West is returning to Paso Robles, California for its sixth year in a row and this year is set to be the best year yet! Here’s a little info from their website (www.crushandrollwest.com),

“For the 6th straight year, cigar connoisseurs and wine enthusiasts will gather in Paso Robles for the Central California Coast’s premiere festival, Crush & Roll West. This celebration of premium cigars, premium wine and the good life, takes place Sept. 5-6, 2014 in the heart of the wine country in San Luis Obispo Country. In addition to sampling world-class cigars and wines, attendees will learn the finer points of both from expert vintners and cigar manufacturers.”

This two day event is jam packed with activities and attractions including: cigar sampling, wine tasting, craft beer tasting, grape stomping, cigar rolling demonstrations, an educational seminar, raffles, a silent auction, a poker tournament and, of course, live music! Some of the biggest names in the industries either attend or at least sponsor the event, including: My Father Cigars, Don Vicente Cigars Int’l, Davidoff, Drew Estates, Oliva, Alec Bradley, Roxo Port Cellars, Sculpterra Winery, Cass Vineyard, Michael Gill Cellars, Nuvino, Summerwood Winery, Stone Brewing Co., Barrelhouse Brewing Co., Bowen’s Whiskey, The Boss Cigars and Cohiba – and that’s just to name a few!

One of the things that makes Crush & Roll such a unique event is that guests are not only able to sample a wide variety of Premium Cigars, Craft Beers and Wines, but they also get a chance to learn more about each. For the past three years, Don Vicente Cigars, based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, has brought out their Master Cigar Roller, Rosa, who has worked for Cohiba as well as Graycliff Cigars, to roll cigars on location and show others how she rolls such beautiful cigars, (of course, she makes it look way too easy). During the afternoon of Saturday’s event, there is a two hour educational seminar where both cigar and wine makers deliver presentations on a wide variety of topics in their fields. Crush & Roll West attracts both Aficionados, Enthusiasts and the average cigar smoker and wine drinker because of this diverse range of events and activities.
