And here are the picks for number 3:

David’s Number 3: One 13 Maduro: Continuing with the onslaught of Boutique mentions within my top 11 this year ( yes I  am feeling alright, maybe the need for a burbery jacket but aside from that fine ) two gentlemen from San Antonio have turned a chance meeting at a cigar festival into a cigar that has been bought, gifted,  searched and hunted for ever since my first puff. For many reasons a quote from a press release hit me  “ONE 13 represents a new life…[a] new chapter in their lives” and has held a certain personal  resonating tone. While this is ‘yet another cigar coming out of Nicaragua’ with the dark earth, cocoa and  leather tones the country is known for, the Habano Maduro offsetting with a healthy dose of sweet  cinnamon spice mixed with spicy pepper gave this cigar distinctive notes and a consistency ‘of the big dogs’ that makes a box purchase a no brainer. To say these cigars impressed be would be an understatement – to say they made the top 3… would be fact.

Brandon’s Number 3:  RoMa Craft Aquitaine Mode 5: This cigar is not just one of my favorite vitolas but also one of my favorite anytime cigars this year.  This cigar was one of the smoothest cigars for the flavor and strength it packs that I have had.  The Aquitaine Mode 3 easily makes it into the top three of my picks this year!  Click here for the full review!

Maxwell’s Number 3: Arturo Fuente Don Arturo Destino al Siglo de Familia: Although the Don Arturo was not released this year, I did find that the ones I had from this year’s production were excellent, enough so that it was one of my favorite cigars to smoke this year. Very well balanced and full of great flavor, the Don Arturo Destino al Siglo is a no brainer for my top 11.
